Hi
I have a problem where I get pulling on drain with around 800mls of fluid still left....I am NOT constipated.
I have to stand up to finish every drain 5 times a night meaning little if no sleep.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this type of thing?

You do not need to completely drain it for every fill. I usually have 200 to 700 ml left in a sleep position and I drain it out using manual drain when I get up on the morning.

Is it the pulling or the fact you have fluid left in that is bothering you ? If its the 'drain pain' ask for your machine to be set to Tidal and that should stop the pulling. Otherwise if its the amount of fluid left in ..whats your total drain for all night , you should pull off all the fluid from exchanges plus a bit extra with each exchange .

Is your total for the night ok? That's all I worry about. I don't care what each individual drain does. It ranges from -300 to +150 sometimes. Odd that it's pinching at such an early time though. Does it feel like the tube might have moved? That happened to me not long after I started on the cycler. I had to have another op and pin it back down.

Just noticed your are a scouser .. :rofl;

I know what it's like with the cycler beeping it's head off all night with low drain alarms, my first cath was like that.
You can adjust the minimum drain alarm, I think mines set to 85%. That means 85% of the fill volume has to drain before it will start the next fill.
Easy to accumulate fluid in there though with subsequent cycles. As long as the last drain is good, I have a minimum UF target set at 500ml,
If it doesn't reach that target, it stops at the end of the last drain and waits for me to wake up and restart the drain to get more fluid out before the final fill. Before I set the minimum UF target the machine would give me fluid some nights, not good!
