Hello everyone, my name is Steve. I have been on dialysis for nine years, 5 on PD and 4 on Hemo. I had a transplant in 1998, it lasted one year. I am consatantly asked when are you going to get another transplant? The answer is probably never, the first one was a nightmare in hell. Even though I hate dialysis I feel I have some control over my health. With a transplant there are no guarantees. Anyway, I am 43, Ilive in Kansas, I have four children(3 boys and a girl)and I have been married for 19 years. I luckily happened to stumble upon this sight. I look forward to sharing and reading messages ftom you all. My current status; in Denial for almost ten years, I am afraid that if I thought I was sick, that I actually might get sick. Keep smilin. Steve :beer1;
