Well, I am just about finished my first week of training for nocturnal home hemo
I believe that I am kicking a**, I have always paid attention to my nurses and the machine and it makes it all easier to learn. I love being in Halifax , I needed time to myself and I am taking advantage of every moment.
Being almost at my 3rd anniversary of dialysis, I am finding a huge strain on Andrew and My realationship, I am not sure where it will end, or if nocturnal will be better or worst for it , but i AM very EXCITED ABOUT NOCTURNAL.
Oh one more thing, I started my buttonholes today... so excited!

Kim, all this stuff does strain (most, not ALL, I know) relationships and it did mine also. I'm hoping that as you get your routine down and start really feeling the benefits of more dialysis time that the pressure will ease a bit.
Try, (not easy but give it a shot) to set aside time for both of you when D is totally off limits.
Best of luck with your buttonholes. :cuddle;

This is great news :yahoo; You are one strong, smart lady :thumbup; I am glad you are having some time to yourself. It is hard to have anything to give others when you are dealing with major issues. I am in a period that I feel I have nothing left to give. Hopefully, your time in Halifax will give you some self renewal. Being alone with one's own thoughts and doing only what you want to do, can be a wonderful luxury. Sending loving thoughts :cuddle;
