Title: Primary for a Kidney Panc.

Hooray!!! When Karen texted me the news I was so excited I nearly jumped out of my chair and lost my needles!  :rofl;

This HAS to be the one. You have waited so long, and had so many calls offering hope!!! My prayers are that this is the one for you mate!!!!

Kim, that is a possibility because the pancreas is more delicate. Also could be from injuries or cause of death. Usually we are not told why.

Not this time.  The damage was from the car accident that killed the donor.

My transplant surgeon told me "the pancreas is pretty much like mush" normally!

When I heard this news I wanted to shout many profanities (like the last time this happened :( ) but my boss wouldn't have approved of that at work.

Man I am so sorry.. this must get so much more and more frustrating for you to know you are clearly near/at the top of the list but for whatever reasons it's just not happening. All I can think is that these organs were not right for you and the right ones are still to come. I want them to come soon for you. VERY SOON!!!
