Title: perseverance works!! 3 persons have responded to Victor's request for donor

On 17 June 2009 Victor and I began searching for a live donor.  Family, friends and others via Internet did not have the required blood type.  In his failure to find a donor within his community, Victor tried to find a non-matching donor as well (the paired donation strategy)

Last week Victor received his first positive response and on Friday  two additional individuals came forth with the willing to give as well.

Since Victor's kidney function is stable at the moment he is not ready for a transplant.

I so hope they (donors) considered posting on this site as well as the LOD site.

The purpose of this note is to demonstrate that perseverance works and we urge you to continue searching on a daily basis.
