Hello to all my good friends!
I am sorry I have not posted for a while- and posting this message is very hard.
My Mom, who has lived with us for the past yr and a half, passed away on June 12.
She suffered a major stroke at our home about 10 days before that. We had been
living in the new house for about a month, and everything was going so well.
The morning she got sick she got up, ate breakfast and then folded two loads of
clothes (that was her big job in the house) I went to the store and when I got
back my DH was on the phone with 911 - Mom was on the couch and not
moving. We rushed her to hospital, Drs gave her clot busters but she did not
progress. Our only option was hospice. She is now with my Dad and all of
her friends. she would have been 93 on july 30.
I hope everyone here is as well as possible. Love you all
Anne and Les

What a dreadful thing to happen, and so suddenly too... Thankfully you had access to hospice care... They do wonderful work... May your mum rest in peace...
May God bless and protect you as you grieve for her...
Love...

I, too, felt like an orphan when my Mom died.
Anne, I am sorry to hear about your Mom. It doesn't matter what age someone is, we still want more time with them. I know she will be missed and was loved by many. Take care of yourself during this time. Love to you and Les. :cuddle;

Reading this brings tears to my eyes. I am so very sorry for your loss. The loss of a Mother is indescribable, no matter the health, age or circumstance. My deepest condolenses. My Mother was staying with us following brain tumor removal in 2006 when she suffered a pulmonary embolism. I was home alone with her when it happened. I relive that day over and over. :grouphug;

I'm saddened to hear this also. Losing your parents is difficult.
