Went into dialysis  last night in a pretty good mood. I was talking with Kevin the security guard at our unit, and was asking who was working on my team (so I could gauge how my night would go :rofl;)
Anywho, he says that a new guy was starting training and he was on my team~ I go ''well i am not gonna be his guinea pig!" I walk into the treatment area, and my jaw just drops.... a guy who i went to Highschool with was the new trainee!! I could not believe it and either could he lol. Well I ended up letting him do my needles and he did the first one great and needed help with the second one, but he doesn't know my fistula so that's nothing big. I actually had a GREAT time at treatment last night!

Trust Twirl to get back to the I-need-to-marry-a-good-dialysis tech/nurse concept, so intriguing and tempting for us.   :rofl;

Be very, very careful how you relate this story in the general public, all of us on the board understand completely what you meant by his doing a really good job sticking it to you the first time, but needing help the next, but in public make sure you mention needles often......  :secret;

For those who have been on the ride at Disney:

It's a world of laughter
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all

There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to ev'ryone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world

I apologize to anyone who now has that song stuck in there head.

My boyfriend refuses to go on that ride....he got trapped in it when he was younger!
