Title: My PKD and Kidney Transplant Diary / Blog
Post by: whiskeyfrank on August 12, 2009, 06:20:49 AM
Hi all

I have decided to write a blog / diary of my treatment for PKD from my current state of waiting for dialysis and bi lateral (double) kidney removal through to my planned live donation from my mum.

If nothing else I'm using it to keep friends and family in the UK and  Canada in touch with where I am in my treatment and whats happening, how i feel and maybe to help others if they go through a similar thing.

I would love people from this forum to follow me and offer thoughts, your all so supportive and i feel part of a family already.

I'm not a celebrity so its just my life as its happening, a normal (ish) man from England.

Hope you think its relevant.

Adrian

It's a really good idea to blog about this so that family and friends, including us, can follow your journey. It's totally relevant to this board.

Good luck with the blog. It is a good way to keep people abreast of your news.

When I was first diagnosed with cancer I also started a blog.  it's such a great way to let people know what's happening.  It also means you don't have so many well meaning people wanting to know what's happening.  That can be tiring at times.  Good on you.
