Im the patient that feels like crap with the high potassium that you've dragged back to the hospital for more blood tests and left sat on a hard chair in reception for 5 hours ! Yes that has been my day ! Nothing to eat and it was only when the receptionist saw how much i was shaking she made me a drink (about half hour before i was going home!) I, and im sure many other wish a 'renal nurse' could swap places with me for a while because i love the way they treat you , they can be a heartless bunch. Anyway my potassium results came back , down slightly , but according to them ,not good enough ! I never even got to see a doctor today ! Sent home with 'that' drink now to lower my potassium then back to do it all again on monday .Sorry crap day , crap results , crap treatment !

sorry :waving;

Well, that is the pits!!!! Sorry you had to go thru that.

Sorry for your crummy day. Would a hug help? :cuddle;
-
I know what you mean. I feel more and more like a number than a human being. Get 'em in, rack 'em up, weigh 'em, get 'em out. Dialysis, doctors offices, hospitals, they're all the same.

All I can do is send yo a hug :cuddle; and say I know what you mean, the same has happened to Dad so often, if he didn't have me to speak up for him I hate to think what may have happened sometimes, wish I was nearer and could come to support you, but it shouldn't be necessary it should be part of their training to care for people!

Yikes. Sorry about the high K, I've been in that boat before and had to take "THAT" medicine on a daily basis for a couple weeks. Blah!
