I started NX Stage training today. Great staff and very supportive. Putting it together seems a little overwhelming, but I am told I'll learn it. Didn't sleep well last night, but boy it was nice not to be on the machine for four hours.

It is a steep learning curve, but in time it will seem sooooo easy.
Best wishes.

The first day seemed like alot but it does get easier, the worst is over the first training day. Relax and enjoy you will feel so much better. :yahoo; :yahoo;
-
Good luck. Thinking of you.
-
By the time you've been on it a month, it will all seem as routine as driving a car. :cheer:
-
Hopefully you'll start feeling the difference in more dialysis soon. That makes everything better!
Like JBeany said, you will get the hang of it.
Best,
Anna

It does seem overwhelming at first, but by the time you're through with the training, you'll be an "old hand" at it. Then, when you get home and it's your house, your setup, your routine, it will be a piece of cake!
Advice-- Take good notes, write in the books and booklets they give you, and ask every single question that pops in your head (remember -- the only "stupid" question is the one you have but don't ask).

Thanks for the support. I'm so excited to learn to do this, it makes me feel so liberated.
-
I felt better after the first week - hope you get similar results!

Day 4 - I got the machine set up alright but the tubes . . . yikes . . . I turned them into what looked like my husbands wire box. A mess.
But it is going really well.
-
We find that once in a while the tubing comes like spaghetti!
:banghead;
No matter what you do, it is all twisted up!
Keep on learning. We simply love our NxStage.
