To catch you up, at my last three doctor appointments (April, May & June) my creatinine has crept up from a consistent 1.1 to 1.89. My doctor has been adjusting my medictions, lowering my Prograf and my Cellcept, adding Lasix and K-Dur, to most recently changing the the Lasix to only as needed and adding sodium bicarb three times a day. I started the sodium bicarb on Tuesday the 14th and had my labs redrawn on the 16th. I called today to find out that only with the two days of bicarb my creatinine finally dropped a tad to 1.85. I hope it continues to go back down. I see my doctor again on the 30th and will probably have my labs redrawn a week after that.
At least it went down, even though it was a small drop. I'll take it.

Every bit of good news is worth celebrating! :2thumbsup;

:waving; Kelly, How did you labs go? Has the creatinine started to drop again? Thinking of you.

My next draw is Thursday. He has me doing labs every two weeks for August and Sept, then one draw the end of Oct, one week before my follow-up with him. My next doctor's appointment is Nov. 5th - my 1 year anniversary! If my creatinine does not go down over the next few draws I'm guessing I'll go in sooner. I pray it goes down!!!
Thanks so much for asking. Congratulations on your machine and dialysis stuff being hauled out of your house, Wattle!
