Title: Hello from somewhere in Calif

Well, found this site thanks to a friend.  I'm a 60 year old man who is a Chief Tech for several dialysis centers.  I simply make sure the water system is safe and that all the dialysis machines are working correctly.  So, here I am, for better or worse.    :waving;

Thanks for the welcome, everybody.  I can tell you some of the workings behind the scenes.  Just ask, I'll answer as best as I can.   

       Some additional info about myself. I'm married, 32 years now.  3 children, 5 grandchildren.
 Started working in dialysis as a reuse tech 11 years ago.  Advanced to equipment tech, then chief tech.   I enjoy my work and know just important my job is.  Providing safe, clean water is the entire basis for quality dialysis. 
       I hope that this site will give me a little better insight to you, the patients:  your needs, your concerns.

Welcome to the site.  It is great that dialysis workers want to be here and learn from the patients. If you did not do your job, we could not dialyze regularly!  You are valuable to the team!

Welcome to our ocmmunity!  So great of you to care enough to join our IHD family :grouphug;  Your joining is just testimony to the vision of the founder.  Even though initially created for patients, he embraced anyone who had anything to do with this renal challenge of ours.  There is even a section created for those who work in this area.
So keep reading and keep posting.
By the way, we are contemporaries (I will be 60 in Jan). A friend of mine says that the good people were born up until the 50's!!
