Title: Dennys Shooting

So Saturday there was a shooting at Denny's right by my fathers house. One lady died.  Two guys just walked in and started shooting up the place.  How scary is that?

What kind of person can just walk up to another innocent person shoot and kill for no reason.

These shootings really upset me.

The shooting at the Unitarian Church in Knoxville hit close to home last year. We were invited to attend that service but had a camping trip planned. Had I gone, I would have been sitting in the row that was hit the hardest. One friend dead, two more wounded. Daughter of one of my wounded friends also wounded. Grandfather of one of my students wounded.

It still reverberates in my psyche. I get blindsided. The student who was there has recovered well, but her parents and grandparents are still reeling. And that was back in July, nearly a year ago.

Senseless.

Violent... they should be in jail. Totally senseless killing that could destory other people's family and future. RIP to the people who got killed.
