Title: Questions to ask surgeon?

I am on PD, but I am going to see the surgeon at the transplant hospital in San Antonio tomorrow.  My grand daughter is donating a kidney. We have done all the tests and will probably be given a date for the transplant.
What questions should I ask the surgeon tomorrow?  Are their some things that you who have had a transplant would have liked to have know about the surgery?

Seriously.... you may ask which side he will put the kidney on??

I don't' know.... they have it pretty down pat.
