Title: Do you have a healthy sex life?

Are you currently having sex? How has being on dialysis affected your sex life? Personally, I feel I have to hold back a bit when I am engaged in intercourse. I do have enjoyable sex, it's just not as intense as I would like that's all. What is it like for you?

Yes I have an active sex life and it is enjoyable. I have heard of cases however that becoming impotent is a possible after effect of kidney failure/disease. However I have read that it is mostly psychological due to the male being self-conscious of his appearance for example his graft or fistula. I have been on dialysis for over 11 years straight (NO transplant) and I have a great sex drive.

For those of us who do not want to read all about CAPD's sexual questions.... the best thing is to not reply and do not view.  He can view it as many times as he wants which will drive up the number of views, but I personally will not read another thing he posts.  :-[

I have noticed too that his questions are a little sexual. By the way my sex life is fine thankyou. Liz :-X
