What a wonderful time for your family. I am so proud of Patton :2thumbsup; I was very impressed with him when we met last August. He has an incredible, caring heart. If I was in the service, I would want him by my side. I know I would be safe with him around. I will be watching and waiting to see him in North Carolina --- he will have to be through here at some point! Give him my love and best wishes. Great job to all who help raised this wonderful young man. :cuddle;

I had one graduate June 2.

This was his party sat. Cold and Rainy but we still had fun.

Thanks to you all. I am currently on a 48 hour Family Day pass at Ft. Benning, GA. Basic isn't as fun as I had hoped, lol but it's alright. Only 5 more weeks. Next week we are doing a 10 mile ruck march with about 65 lbs on our backs. Last week we did 8 miles. Two weeks from now we go on a 10 day field training exercise and on the way back from it, we ruck march about 12-16 miles, with about the same amount of gear. Yes, it's been great. :urcrazy;
-
We are all so PROUD of you!!!!! :grouphug; :grouphug; :grouphug;
-
Best of luck Patton in everything you set for yourself to achieve. 5 weeks isn't so long LOL, but all that hard work might make it seem like a year. :bestwishes;
-
Josh, we are proud of you and all your fellow soldiers. We all thank you for volunteering to serve our country. You have many great things happening in your life right now and we wish you the best in everything. We look forward to seeing pictures of you in your uniform :2thumbsup;

Hurray for Josh! :2thumbsup;

a big warm Caribbean hug for you, Josh :cuddle;
BTW, I LOVE your avatar. As you said "Two great people"!
-
God Luck on the treks, I'm sure you'll make it, you have the attitude to carry you through it. That training will pay off. Just remember no marching to the tunes of those used in the movie "Stripes" :rofl; :rofl;
-
How is Patton doing? I personally would love an update! :waving;
-
Patton is no longer in the Army. He got an honorable discharge after 9 months. He went to school for awhile in Florida for motorcycle mechanics and then got his class D security officer license and is currently looking for work in Florida with his wife.
-
We wish him all the best. We would love to hear how he is doing. :grouphug;
-
Thanks Sluff. Please tell him I said hello. :waving;
