After lurking on the board for 3 months, I finally decided to register and become a part of the community. 
My wife is a nxstage home hemo patient and has been at home for about 5 weeks after about 3 weeks of training.
We have a 10 and 11 year old boys who are now adjusted to the fact that mom is doing home hemo.
We live in Rehoboth MA which is in about 50 miles from Boston and 10 miles from Providence.

I just wanted to thank all the people in the nxstage users forum for their useful posts.  It has given us a great boost learning from other nxstage users.
So far she is feeling much better and has much more energy.  We have had a few bumps in the road, but things are getting to be more routine.

Hey, Rob,
When my husband started NxStage last year he said he felt 10 years younger. The trick is to find something (legal) that will help us care-givers feel that great!  :rofl;

We got our date last week, we start hubby's home hemo training on July 13.  We would have started earlier, but the techs only used his new fistula twice before tearing it.  (Tech untaped the needle, then dropped the tube.  Yanked the needle through the vein.)

We have vowed that no tech will ever stick him again.
