I've had my house on the market since July 14, 2006 and I finally have an offer and have accepted it. I'm glad in a way, but now is the hard part of this project. I have to fly up to Spokane for a week and look for a home. Well, bottom line is I have to be out in 30 days. My family is willing to help me. If I can't find my dream home, then I can live in an Apartment until I do. So, I'm not too worried.
I'd appreciate all your prayers for the strength for this big move. Sacramento to Spokane.

Selling a house is pretty stressful. OK, I have an offer and I've accepted it. I have 30 days to get out. BUT, they have 12 days to back out. Then they put $1,000 down and if they back out the remaining 18 days I keep the $1,000.
BFD.....$1,000 isn't worth me flying up to Spokane, arranging two times of dialysis, finding a house, putting money down on that, then coming home and packing like a damn mad woman........then they can back out on the last day. And I get to keep the $1,000 big WHOOP! This better go through~!

Reun, a few curious questions...
Have you found a dialysis center in Washington? Have you visited it and seen it?
How did you go about reearanging your dialysis treatments from here to there?
Please let us know if this ia an easy transefer or a hassle. I am sure thereapeople out there interested in moving, but are afraid to do it becasue of dialysis treatments.
Just me being nosy. I know this is in off topic area, but where can I put it?
-
I'm from there, so it was easy. My nephrologist of 20 years is still there and the head of the program. I have visited about 3 times so I know where I want to go. I did have to send my current labs, prescription for dialysis etc. But, it is just like traveling somewhere only it is permanent when you move.
When I moved here (Sacramento) 5 years ago I had my transplant and was doing well. So, that move was even easier.
Damn the luck!

OMG, 12 days :o-- Is that a standard contract where you are? I could stand 3 days to 5 days, but waiting longer than that would drive me crazy!!
Have you started packing yet?
-
I have two boxes packed with stuff I should have boxed a long time ago. DVD's and VHS tapes etc.
I called the Spokane clinic to see if I could come next week. She said she would call me back. Waiting..........it is 8:30 PM, so I guess I can call it a night! :P

Well, I got to Spokane and looked for houses for 3 days. I found one I liked and put in an offer. Before my Realtor had a chance to FAX it my California Realtor called to tell me my deal fell through.......... I was so mad/dissappointed. Before I left I tried to make sure the deal was firm. "Oh, yes, she loves your house and she is packing to move." Well, I guess my buyer found a better job in the bay area. :( >:( So, I'm back to square 1.
The dialysis visit was okay except they had my wrong dry weight and they had me on K2. I'm usually on K1. They told me they didn't have K1.?? This clinic was not full. There is not one Davita in Spokane. The techs put you on even with a catheter.

%$#@&^%, aw shucks, hope you get another offer on the house soon.
Dialysis center sounds different -- think you can train them? :lol;

Rerun where do you live again?
Sacramento. If you want to see my house, go to www.11CoolFountainCourt.com then wait a few seconds and a virtual tour starts up. It is only a half-plex (2 bdrm) but with all the pictures it makes it look bigger than it is.

That is cool Rerun, and nice house, sorry you have to sell it :-\

Cool. My stepson lives in Sacramento. I do not know if he is interested in purchasing a house yet, but I am sending him the link. He lives in Sacramento.
