Title: Space Station sightings - USA

We saw the space station in the sky over Southern California for 5 mins. tonight - traveling at about 17,000 miles per hour - with no moon it was very easy to see. Check out your area over the next few days http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/cities/skywatch.cgi?country=United+States

I just saw the space station going down 42nd Street here in NYC.    :o

It's a fast moving shiny light - being outside and seeing how fast it moves from horizon to horizon is what is awesome - I doubt a video would be much fun. Sorry Chris, it might be tough for you to see.

Thanks for the info Karol. We just saw it. It was pretty neat. Now my husband is watching the NASA channel.

I missed tonight's by about 30 minutes. Will have to try tomorrow. Too cool!
