Title: Help with a math question
Post by: paul.karen on March 06, 2009, 06:59:19 AM
I was never very good at math.
So maybe you could help me.

there are about 303,834,650 people living in the USA.

If we say all the the stimulus plans together will settle at about 2 TRILLION dollars.
do the math.

If we divided the stimulus package by the amount of people living in America how much per person would that come out to money wise?

My calculator doesn't go that high :stressed;

$ 6, 582.53  (cents rounded up.)

I say screw the banks and wall street.

Divide the 2 trillion up among those that are legal citizens over the age of 18.  The amount would be well over the 6500+.  That would do more for the economy then giving it to wall street and banks.

Phew  been a long three years since this post.

So i didnt get any of the stimulus money :-(
But i do get to pay it back  :2thumbsup;

And they want a new stimulus package.  This time we will get some money dont you worry.

Them shovel ready jobs from three years ago must be well  shovel ready by now right?

I would mention some green jobs but they well they not doing so well.  Seems solindra finaly after getting $500 million figured out that it didnt make sense to sell solar panels for $5 dollars each when it cost $ 7.50 to make them.  But they knew how to spend $500 million before figuring that little mistake out.

I would mention the benifits of putting all them wind mills up.  Pst.  dont tell anyone about all the dead  birds hell we kept water from farmers in californis cause of a few small guppies.  So hundreds of farms and families went out fo business casue the fish were more important.  Way to go enviros :thumbup;  kill a family save a fish.
But im off track dont tell the enviros the big wind mills are killing birds they would be upset.  All them wind mills they look so pretty huh.  They do send electricity to a few homes so it must be worth it.
Psst.  Did you hear that the windmills are creating global warming yup bringing it on faster then a coal mine that is much smaller then a windfarm and heats and cools WAY more homes then a big pretty windfarm.
You see them pretty solar farms going up all over.  Yeah we buy them soloar panels from china sweet deal i ques.   solar elecric is nice and much more expensive the coal or oil.  But Obama did say prices would neccisarily skyrocket.  Gues we have to pay for solindra somehow.
Hard to find a job.  Shovel ready lets see there is a pipeline that could be supplying jobs to thousands of dont wanna say this out to loud (americans) ugggh  not china.  Put a stop to that pipeline.  Oils is to cheap for americans to use for electricty and heating.  So no  pipeline for cheaper fuels and american jobs.

Yes it has been a long and expensive three years.
Has anyone noticed the price of food.  wonder if that went up in price?

Sorry for the silly rant.
I gotta stop reading old posts.
