Title: I've been listed!!!

 :bandance; :bandance; :bandance;  After 11 months, I'm finally listed for a kidney/pancreas transplant!!! Yay! Now if only the other transplant center I want to list at would hurry up and get on the ball.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that I was also put on hold immediately because I am on antibiotics for my graft! Arrgghh.   :banghead;

Be sure to keep on top of that, so you are removed from inactive status as soon as you're eligible.

Thats great paddbear! I was on the PK list for only 6 months and 13 days when I got the call. I hope it goes fast for you.

I feel like I should be more excited and happy than i am. I'm not sure why I feel this way. I've heard quite a few bad things about OSU transplant center from several people who ended up switching to another transplant center, so maybe that's it. I just feel very confused right now.

My husband is currently listed at three hospitals; if you are
doubtful about the one you are on, look into others within
your allowed area that you would feel more comfortable with

YAYYY Padd!  Getting listed is a giant hurdle.  I wasn't what I would call happy or excited when I got listed, it was more a sense of relief that things were moving in the right direction.  Good luck to you!
