The hardest part is at the end when they have to hold the site for twenty minutes to stop bleeding.  The nurse I had was a tiny thing and it felt like she was climbing on top of me.

Have some Horny Goat Weed Tea before you go, it will give the nurses something to think about.  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

That sounds kinda fun. Maybe I can have two nurses climbing on top of me  ;D ...Boxman

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. They mean a lot.

Sharon just had that procedure last Wednesday, the cardiac doctor laid out all the dire consequences that she faced, they might have to place stents and possibly do open heart surgery depending on what they found, that the procedure would be about 45 minutes if things went well, I steeled myself and after she left I figured I had better go to the cafeteria and have at least a hamburger then went down to the waiting room, 20 minutes after she went down my cell phone rang and it was Sharon on the phone she was back in her room and and the results could not have been better, she had the pictures to prove all the arteries were quite reasonably clear, so no special intervention was needed, she will still have a defibrillator installed in a couple of weeks, So hoping your heart shows the same good fortune......

Again thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. They all worked. My cardiac cath showed no problems with my veins going to the heart except for some build up that the Doctor prescriped a higher dose of simvastatin (generic lipator). He said there was very little change from the one he did 2 years ago. The power of prayer and good wishes can do wonders. I feel pretty good about the results...Boxman

Hello Boxman.. I hope everything went well for you. I just wanted to say I'm next, Feb 19 I have my cardiac consult then I guess we'll try to plan a date
for the procedure.   I'm not on a transplant list yet but I hope to finish up with all the other tests soon. My favorite is coming up...colon oscopy , I have never had one and all
I can say is Yeah!!!   :sir ken; So let me know how that cardiac test went..    take care.... Gus.
