Hi,

I'm Alasdair and I live in London. When I was 15 I realised I had end stage kidney failure and started HD until they managed to put in a Tenkof for PD. I then had a LRD transplant from my father which lasted for 10 years and I started HD last year. I have been using a fistula for the last six months.

Welcome to our community.  This is a good place when you want to vent, get some questions answered, answer some question, etc.  Looking forward to hearing a lot from you, especially telling us about your experiences with a transplant.  Welcome again!

Hi Alasdair,

whereabouts in London are you?  I used to live in Harrow and then High Wycombe for about 7 years.  I`m now up in Bonnie Scotland.  Welcome to the site and spread the word cos we need more members from the UK!

Hi! My transplant had lasted around just as long and I got it when I was 16 so it seems you and I have similar experiences that way ;)
