this story is coming up on
CBS news, channel 2 in my area.
Just heard the preview- husband gave
wife a kidney, now they are divorcing, and
he wants the organ back!!!
Didn't hear the full report yet, but I am
waiting for the news to come on
This sounds like a first to me!

I have said for YEARS that if my husband at the time 22 years ago was allowed to give me a kidney he would have wanted it back when we divorces 8 years later. This is not a first! I thought of it long ago. Back then it was only "living Related". No spouses or friends let alone a stranger. Things do change folks.
:clap;

Well doesn't he look classy in front of the entire world. Pathetic dweeb. My advice to her is a simple slogan..."Just say NO".
-
Maybe in the divorce settlement, she gets the kidney and he gets the urine.

Can she give back her stretchmarks from childbirth too? :sir ken;

He gave her the gift of life.
She started an affair with her trainer who she wouldnt have without the kidney.
He gave her a REAL life again. She decided she didnt want him anymore.
Im not making an excuse for him.
But i would be pretty pissed off myself.
No i would never ask for the kidney back. But it would haunt me the rest of my life.
-
Yes I would not diminish his "gift" - but it is naive for someone to donate and not accept that it's non-refundable.
-
agreed

Its a real shame this has had to happen, I understand him being bitter, but in the public eye... he is making a fool of himself

Love turns to hate.
Doctor with no compassion. They have 3 children together. Maybe because I am single therefore, I do not understand the complexity of a marriage.
