I started dialysis this week. Was in the hospital for 3 days and did outpatient on Friday. Did ok. Blood pressure dropped in the hospital once. It has been low without meds since I've been home.

Sorry you had to start but glad you are doing ok. We are here for you. :grouphug;

Takes some adjusting but I'm so glad that it's not been too awful so far. :cuddle;

You will be Ok. Takes a little getting used to all the bumps and ups and downs but slowly you will adjust. Hang in there...Boxman

Dialysis is not the end of your life, but the beginning of a new way to live. Follow your do's and don'ts and diet.

Sorry to hear. I'll probably be joining you soon!

Thanks everyone. I haven't met with dietician yet. Supposedly next week. I met a very nice man visiting from Oklahoma at dialysis on Firiday and was impressed with his courage.

Good luck with everything. I'm sure you will do fine after all the necessary adjustments have been made.
Take Care
