Title: Some Winter wonderland pictures I took today
Post by: del on January 02, 2009, 03:19:06 PM
Today hubby and I were cutting firewood.  We had about 6 inches of snow last night and we had a winter wonderland this morning.  The last pic is me relaxing after a hard days work LOL!!!

pictures are great, but i'm sure glad we don't have that much snow except in the ski areas (where it belongs) they had to close one last week, because they got too much snow (?) 40 inches!!!!!

Well Paris we don't really "chop" wood.  Hubby uses the chain saw. he saws down the trees and cuts them up with the chainsaw.  I throw the junks of wood to a pile and pack them up!!!  No chopping at all.  If the junks are big we have an electric log splitter at home!!!

Beautiful pics! My feeling is that if I'm living in Michigan I want snow and lots of it in the winter! Unfortunately where I live in the state the snowfall is sporadic so most of the winter it's slushy and messy. >:(

I did not see del till you pointed that out. I had to look hard and finally started to make out something that didn't look right and eventually could finally see her. For me she blended in right with the tree and wood when I looked.

Still would like all that snow. All we get is about an inch, which is like nothing.
