Sorry abou that im new to this posting. I typed in an introduction but never made it on the site. :stressed; Just taked some getting used to I guess.
My story begins with a diagnosed birtyh defect that was found in 95 and was repaired so I thought back then in my bladder. aparently I was holding urine from the inability to drain my bladder and it caused my urine to back up into my kidneys and caused them to shut down. I was eventually I was hopitalized on March of 2007 and was diagnosed with end stage renal failure and put on homo-dialysis while there in the hospital after three weeks recouping I was released to a dailysis center. Among other things I have diabetes and vision disbilities. I resigned from my work as a machinists back in 2005 due to vision loss. I underwent retnal surgery on both eyes and was realeased on disability since then. Im recently married going on three years in April thank God for that. I at least I can talk to someone athome about whats on my mind. But there is one thing ive noticed though is my wife I know cnat really know what im going through as she is not experiencing it herself. TRhat is why It is nice to have this site to vent and look into someone else that going though simular problems. Still dealing with the emotional scars in dealing with this, its a struggle but im copeing.I have some family members that dont understand just what it is im going through. An that makes it all the harder on me. All in all Im still here and kickin. Many things to be thankful for this year. :boxing; Jus tkeep on fighting to stay in this life.

Bob, welcome to this site. I am so glad to meet you and glad you joined the site. One tip is to review your posts and hit the spell check at the bottom of your posting box, before you submit it. It will help us who are reading your posts make sense of it. Not a big deal to make a typo here and there but we need to try..... that is all we ask.
Before you post pictures go the the site rules. There are directions: http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=540.0

Welcome! You have come to the right place for support and understanding. I think a lot of us come here because there is no way for our families to really understand how we are feeling. When we post here, someone always says "I feel like that too!" It really helps to know you aren't alone. Post often. We look forward to knowing you better. Glad you are here! :grouphug;

Welcome! You have come to the right place for support and understanding.
Thanks Paris! and the Group There was so many I did not expect it. I definitely found the right place for me to get answers and advice or to just unload.Your stories have encouraged me to keep going. Even though I'm battling depression. I read the lives of some of these members here and It makes me think I'm not alone and if they can do it so can I. I just wish I knew about this months ago when this all started. I can say I have one more thing to be thankful for this season and that is thanks for this message board and support group because I was approaching my wits end. I definitely say I feel better since I came across this site and a bit supprised on just how many of us that are going through this. Again thanks so much you are truly all my true friends! :cuddle; :grouphug; :thx;
Thanks Again,
Your Friend, Coorsbob :beer1;
