Title: What ONE item would you take with you on a deserted island?

It would also need a supply of ultrapure water, electricity, chemicals, a whole bunch of new dialyzers, needles etc. You'd also need EPO, betadine, bandages, at least one skilled tech etc. I think I would take a good battery operated 2-way radio. That way I could call for help and be pretty assured of getting it. If on the other hand the place was a vacation destination as EPOman suggested then the radio would simply become an entertainment device. CQ DX! ;D

I doubt very seriously whether I would be on dialysis if I didn't have my wife.
