Hi Everyone,
My name is Debbie and I have been on PD for 56 nights. I have PKD. Although new to dialysis not new to this disease. My dad was diagnosed in 1969 and died within a year of diagnosis before dialysis could begin. My older brother was on pd for eight years and was transplanted and had nine great years. He passed away last year. My other brother has been on hemo for eleven years. I was dianosed in 1992 and waited as long as possible (5%) to start.
I found this website the week I started training and it has been a valuable sorce of information for me.

:welcomesign; Debbie. I truly wish that you'd had less experience with ESRD in your family. So very sad. I look forward to getting to know you through this site.
