Title: Im finally home and ........

Where do i even begin...

Basically the transplant went well. my sister is fine, she had slight issues with her epidural. but went home after a few days.

a few days after the transplant my B.P went up and stayed around 160 over 107. Docs found out that although i was peeing. i was retaining fluid and was overloaded. so they put me on a diuretic. and bp came down.

i would have been home sooner but my wound started to ooze. and docs put me on a antibiotic. its still oozing at the moment but should clear soon.

as far as side effects from the immunosepressents i developed severe heartburn and my stomach felt on fire when i ate. thanks to cyclosporin.
had to have a gastroscope not fun :'( thats sorted out know with meds.

What kind of antacid do they have you on? I take protonix and have not had any problems whatsoever since transplant 6 months ago.

I can't wait to hear all about your transplant! I hope your sister is doing better, too. The only "problem" I seem to be having is my stomach is still so big!! Uncomfortably big! It drives me nuts! My BP is good, my temp is good, my labs are good, etc. However, I get out of breath easy because of my stomach being in the way!! ha ha

I'm glad you're doing well!
