Title: Birthdays, Christmas and tamales!
Post by: okarol on December 14, 2008, 07:18:05 PM
Kitkatz and I share December as our birthday month so we got together to celebrate. Kitkatz took the train to Union Station and I drove down to meet her. Nearby is Olvera Street, a Mexican Marketplace in downtown Los Angeles. Thanks Kit, it was a great day! We ate yummy tamales and wandered around visited the chapel, the fire station (from 1884) and old hotel, and shopped all the little stalls of STUFF! We also did the touristy thing and got our photo taken with the donkey, guns and all!

Your missing an Amigo though.

Nice picture, wish we had something cool like that here.

Here is a photo I took of the "Old Plaza Church" - built in 1822 - beautiful old chapel in the heart of Los Angeles. Kitkatz and I visited there and I got my tacky Virgin of Guadalupe chartreuse holy water bottle at the church gift shop. (Love it!)  :2thumbsup;
