A few minutes ago while I was typing away to you guys on my laptop in bed, the funniest thing happened! I have had workmen in the house doing my bathroom for the past three weeks and I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear the electrician walking around in the roof above my bedroom. Next thing I knew he was on the bed with me. He had fallen through the ceiling and we both got totally covered in loose insultation. I roared laughing. Just pleased the bed was there and he didn't get hurt! Very funny! xx

Was he cute, Lucinda? :rofl; Seriously, I hope your house is ok.
-
Now that's what we all need.
A "sparky" that can do electrical work and spark us up if we are feeling low/tired or off in another world.
There's nothing better than getting a little "spark" to get us going
:rofl; :rofl; :rofl;
-
jessup, you're a real Rodney Dangerfield, you know that?
-
Lucinda...and you think you have nothing going? Men are just dropping into your house. How scarey for him but funny too for both of you. :bandance;
-
The poor bloke only hurt his ego fortunately. I am still laughing about it. The guys are coming tomorrow to fix it but it is a huge hole and I have possums in my roof. Hope they don't drop in tonight! x
-
I'm glad he didn't fall on you and hurt you. Bet it scared you though. If there are possums in your roof I'd be sleeping in the bath tub with the door shut. No, I'd go to a motel for the night.
:2thumbsup;

You lucky girl, the only thing that drops into my bed is the occasional spider (maybe I should dust more :rofl;)
It's great to hear you laughing :cuddle;
-
Ooooohh! It's raining men! :yahoo;
-
He's falling for you Cindy! :rofl; :rofl;
-
That poor guy, I bet he had to take a bathroom break soon after ;D
-
Nothing beats a good man dropping in for a visit. Especially when they're handy. :rofl; Glad neither of you was hurt.
-
He dropped everything for you. What did you give him in return? :rofl;
-
lol you'll do anything to get a man in your bed won't you?
That's the sort of thing you'd expect in a slapstick comedy. Glad the guy is OK and he landed NEXT to you. You weren't disrobed were you? hehehehe
Sometimes life has a way of giving you a laugh when you most need it. Maybe this was one of those times :)

:rofl; :rofl;

Rob is an electrician and has fallen through an attic before, but never on the homeowners bed with the homeowner on it. I'm sure he is the butt of all his co-workers jokes today!
You must have had a slight heart attack when that happened, glad you weren't hurt. I'm sure the Electrician had a slight heart attack also and as JP said, needed to visit the loo afterwards! :shy;

My husband was working on a camera system at a local car lot and realized the office that the DVR was in was locked. He decided to shimmy across the ceiling to get into the office. I received a call from him stating that he had fallen and broke his knee! Be glad there was a bed for him to land on!!!!
-
I sure wouldn't be laughing if he was hurt but he rang me this morning to check I was OK and told me that he most certainly WAS the butt of many jokes over a beer last night. The guys are here fixing it this morning so by tonight you will never know it happened. Would have been a great one for funniest home videos!!
-
Oh, I would definitely be laughing iif it had happened to me, too! It is very funny! Almost right out of a movie! Poor guy! Poor you! :rofl; I hope it's not the rainy season in Australia. Is there such a thing? ???
-
It's definitely the "wet season" here in the top end (we only have two seasons per year - the wet and the dry) but I don't think its raining where Lucinda is because she has 4 seasons and it is summer
