My potential donor and I met today and my mom drove us (me, Becky <potential donor> and my husband Tony) to the transplant hospital for bloodwork. They drew like 14 tubes of blood from both Becky and I. We'll know in about two weeks. Tony hopes this will be the end of the dialysis as do Becky and my mother. Keep your fingers crossed, ladies n gents!

Thanks Chris, Traci, Bajanne and Rerun! We're praying for it to work too! I'm :puke; and tiired of dialysis, as I'm only 31 and want to get on with my life and my education instead of sitting in that chair watching life pass me by, you know?

Been there with dialysis and school. Even after transplant you may need to slow down if you go to classes. Some students are just plain disgusting or come in sick and cough all over.
But it will be better than dialysis.
