Title: Transplant set for the 26th!!!

Went to see the urologist and pathologist today. they both agreed I'm ready and are happy for me to go ahead with the transplant next Wednesday. :yahoo;

My only concern was infections since i have a urostomy bag on my tummy. but the doctors agreed since i have not had a bladder infection in over 10 years everything should be fine.

Its worth noteing that I'm having my transplant at Groote Schuure Hospital in Cape Town. The First Ever Heart transplant to place there many years ago!!!

Lori Hartwell, who runs the Renal Support Network, is leaving tomorrow from California to visit South Africa for 2 weeks. I believe she is speaking in Capetown!
