Very sore and worn out from all the hubbub, but oh so glad to be home! :cheer: (I wish I could jump around like this little smiley)
My creatinine is at 1.3 as of today.
My potassium is still up at 4.7, but my phosphorus is at 1.5! I get to eat some fun stuff for a while! :)
My incision is looking great! Everyone was very please with their work (especially me and my donor), and I hope to never set foot in a hospital again! I'm so tired!
I'm going to go take my 9 p.m. meds, add 1/2 a pain pill, and collapse!
Love to you all! Good Night!

Glad you are home and especially glad you are back on IHD. What an incredible week is was for IHD transplants! Rest, take the pain pill and get some sleep. We love you :cuddle; :cuddle;

Congratulation and yet stay away from the hospital.

Welcome home Kelly. Get some real rest now so that you can soon be jumping around exactly like this little smiley. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Welcome Home!!!!
Your phosphorus will be low for a while (cause you are peeing it out). They will probably put you on a supplement.

Hi Kelly
Glad to hear you are home and doing well. You and Cheree can compare notes when she can get back on line. xx

It is great you are home. Have a great recovery!

Thanks again, everyone. Man, being on home lock-down and on Prednisone is a real pain! If I eat anything I'm stuffed like a pig. Then about an hour later and starving again! I try to munch on unsalted almonds and that has helped. But this is driving me crazy!!! All I think about is what to eat next! Even when I'm stuffed! ha ha Thankfully my weight isn't climbing yet.
My pain is going away a little each day. I can now maneuver around in bed with little effort (get your mind out of the gutter!!!!). What I mean is that I can lay on my sides, as well as my stomach! That is true heaven when you've been forced to lay on your back for the last two weeks!! Plus, I still wake up multiple times during the night for one reason or another and go to the restroom. It's getting less painful each time.
What I'm having problems with is the location of the incision. I can't wear anything that doesn't press right against it. I bought large pj bottoms, but I've been wearing them "gangsta style" in order to keep them off my incision. I do look cool - fat face and all. :)
