Title: I Voted Today
Post by: G-Ma on October 21, 2008, 03:23:59 PM
Got tired of hearing about it, talking about it..drove by after dialysis, saw a sign, no line, stopped and voted.  I feel if you don't vote, don't complain.

My husband is voting early.  I kind of like to go on election day and make it special.  Any way it happens is good with me.  Just get out there and vote   :thumbup;

Six years ago, Rolando was told it was time to start dialysis - he was sent to the hospital on election day 2002. Even though he was passing out whenever he stood up, he didn't go directly to the hospital. Instead, he stopped by the polling place, passed out, was scooped up off the floor and put into a wheelchair and wheeled on in to cast his vote (against Jeb Bush for governor).

Election Day, that's how important it is.

We will both vote on November 4th.

(have I told this story before?)

We don't like either candidate, so we aren't voting.

i have my mail in ballot all filled out, just have to locate .59 to mail it and a mail box of course. as usual i voted for the local ballot issues and "none of the above" for president. don't really find any differences in this election than previous elections. haven't found anything to get excited about since i changed my party registration so i could vote against richard nixon in a california primary.

I voted Tuesday!   There were only about 5 people in front of me, so, no waiting long at all!    :bandance;
