I don't know the Predisone side effects.
Prograf has a lot of side effects. I have had tremors, weight gain, irritability, constipation, headaches, muscle pain, vivid dreams and nightmares, sleep problems ,and high blood pressure. Taking Prograf has damaged my transplanted kidneys, I lose phosphorous and bi-carb and take supplements.
At times it can be annoying and frustrating. But it is not all gloom and doom. As my nephorlogist told me,"Miracle drugs keep you alive, but they are damaging to your body". If you go to drugs.com and read the information for consumers first, then for professionals you will learn a lot about the drugs. Good Luck! I hope your side effects are few.

It can be really different for different people. My husband has had few problems with the drugs. They did have to cut back on his Cellcept at about month 3 because his white blood cell count was going down. They are talking about cutting down his prednisone to 5 mg a day soon. He is still gaining weight and has a bit of moon face as side effects of the prednisone. He also had to begin taking a low dose of a statin to lower his cholesterol, which tends to go up as a side effect of the immunosupressives. He has not had any problems with his blood sugar or any other blood chemistry other than being slightly anemic.
If you go to the home page for forums and use the search feature you will find information on most of the drugs..

I'm only on CellCept and Prograf. The side effect I have from Prograf is tremors which aren't so bad unless my level is up and more noticable when I'm sick. I don't have the weight gain, phosphorus and bi-carb loss or hair loss associated with Prograf. CellCept on the other hand when first taken can give you diarrhea, but as the dose is lowered it went away. Some people can tolerate CellCept and some cannot. I never was on Prednisone, so I don't know what to expect from that.

There is a good discussion here - Transplant Recipients: What side effects do you have from transplant meds? http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=4933.0
