Title: staying cold after transplant

ever since transplant (even while on dialysis) i  stay cold all the time...i have spoken to transplant about this and tested  for anemia and it came back negative. Has any recipients encountered  this before?  any help would be great!!

What is your hemoglobin level?

blood work results as of 10/08/08 ..hemoglobin is 11.9 normal is (12.0 to 18.0)

Normal for men is 13.5 though I think, so 11 is good for a male dialysis patient but I'd ask the transplant team if that's still OK now that you're no longer on D.

I agree with Monrein.   My hem. is currently 11.5 and I'm constantly cold (pre-dialysis).  I hope I don't remain cold after transplant!  However, I'll take cold over hot!       Good Luck!
