Hello.  My husband is a dialysis patient for 1 year now & he hates it.  I am looking for information & new ideas.  Love the site.  Theresa

Theresa I'm glad you joined the site.  I wish your husband would.  If he really hates dialysis as much as I do we need to chat.  I hope you both end up using this site for information and a good laugh.

Welcome to our community!  It is great that you have joined this site on your husband's behalf.  Here is the place to come for information, support, a place to vent when you need to, and fun! We are a family here!   Just keep reading and keep posting.  There is also a section particularly for loved ones of renal patients.  Maybe you can check it out as well.   We are looking forward to hearing from you. :flower;

Being only into HD for 5 weeks  I can agree with your husband.  There are better things we could be doing but life has tossed us this paitch and we will have to live with it.  Before i started I had very bad thoughts ablout it and life.  While now it isnt the best there are things worse. 
I am a diabetic , have had heart problems since 1943 and now this.  Of course art the ritus has come also  but as long as my family understands I will take what life throws at me.Tell you DH things could be worse  He could be a qudraplegic and bed ridden

Please let your husband know that we understand what he is going through and that we are here whenever he has questions or would like to research anything. Thanks to you for taking an active role and advocating for him. You have a tough job and we understand how you feel as well.
